Discipleship: Our Calling to Holiness and Mission with Tom Schwanda [Seoul Statement]

What does it mean to be a disciple in today’s world? In this powerful reflection, Tom Schwanda explores the call to holiness and mission at the heart of Christian discipleship. Drawing on Scripture and the Seoul Statement, he emphasizes that discipleship is not a program or performance, but a lifelong journey of being formed in Christ by the Holy Spirit. Holiness is not optional—it’s foundational. And true discipleship means both declaring the good news and displaying Christ’s love in the world.

Part of the Seoul Statement Companion Series, this video invites churches to recover a deep, Spirit-empowered vision of discipleship that transforms lives and communities for the glory of God.
