The Bible: The Holy Scriptures We Read and Obey with Steve Chang

In this foundational teaching, Steve Chang unpacks the vital role of the Bible in the life of the Church and its mission. Drawing from the Seoul Statement, he presents eight affirmations that guide us in reading Scripture faithfully—anchored in its divine authorship, centered on the gospel of the Kingdom, and empowered by the Holy Spirit. With clarity and conviction, he calls the global Church to be formed by the Word, rooted in tradition, and shaped by the local context—all for the glory of Christ.

Part of the Seoul Statement Companion Series, this video challenges us to become communities of faithful readers and listeners, devoted to Scripture and committed to obedience.

Watch now to renew your vision for the Bible as God’s living Word—forming disciples, fueling mission, and exalting Jesus Christ.
