Tom Schwanda (PhD, Durham University) is associate professor of Christian formation and ministry, emeritus, at Wheaton College and senior fellow for Christian spirituality at the C. S. Lewis Institute, an international discipleship ministry headquartered in Washington, DC. He has published on Puritanism, early evangelical spirituality, and the history of the devotional life of evangelicalism and fundamentalism.
Tom is also a spiritual director and mentor trainer. He and his wife, Grace, live in Grand Rapids, Michigan (US). They have two children and five grandchildren.
