What is LIGHT?
Lausanne Insights for Global Horizons and Trends (LIGHT) is an initiative of the Lausanne Movement that exists to bring clarity, insight, and missiological analysis to the trends shaping our world.
As a global research and discernment effort, LIGHT serves the Church by identifying key shifts—cultural, technological, demographic, religious, and geopolitical—and examining their implications for the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
Functioning as a strategic research initiative within Lausanne, LIGHT gathers data, curates global perspectives, and offers actionable insights to help leaders respond wisely to the challenges and opportunities of our time. Through reports, briefs, consultations, and collaborative partnerships, LIGHT equips the global Church to engage today’s world with understanding, courage, and gospel-centered vision.
