Join a global community praying with and for children at risk!
World Weekend of Prayer is a special prayer event that has been running for 30 years, and at its heart is prayer for children, particularly those at risk.
This year’s theme is ‘He’s got the whole world in His hands.’ Across the world, churches and organisations will come together – in their cities and communities – to organise prayer walks, special child-focused prayer services, Bible clubs and radio shows. People planning these events – including children, where appropriate – can make use of resources created by children and child practitioners, such as drawings, stories, and Bible lessons, all of which can be freely downloaded.Developed by Viva – together for children, this year’s World Weekend of Prayer is being supported by the Lausanne Movement’s Children and Family & Children-at-Risk Networks, Global Children’s Forum, and World Without Orphans.
