The Fourth Lausanne Congress provided the opportunity to address identified ‘gaps’ in fulfilling the Great Commission. These gaps emphasize the critical challenges and opportunities the global church will face by 2050. Participants in the Congress were assigned to collaborative groups to gain a global perspective on each gap and consider ways to close these gaps. Each gap group listened to perspectives on the current reality, imagined a preferred reality, discussed how to create ways to close the gap, and communicated a prayerful proposal in response. The following papers articulate summaries of shared perspectives and insights gained from these groups during the ‘Collaborate’ sessions at the Fourth Lausanne Congress.
