The Lausanne Persecuted Church Initiative aims to spotlight the persecuted church in hostile contexts with the aim of strengthening its witness for Christ, and propelling the work of global mission forward amidst suffering.
According to the Open Doors World Watch List top 50, one in seven Christians are persecuted worldwide, with many countries in the Middle East and North Africa, and a few in Latin America, ranked as experiencing very high to extreme levels of persecution. Believers in these regions risk being murdered, imprisoned or having their properties attacked.
We will gather together for a time of prayer for the body of Christ in the Middle East-North Africa Region and Latin America. Join us to hear about how God is at work in these places, receive encouragement, and learn about challenges faced by our brothers and sisters in Christ in these regions of the world, for the sake of the gospel.
