Commissioning the Whole Church into the Whole World with Steinar Opheim

What if the Great Commission could be fulfilled not just by pastors and missionaries, but through everyday professionals and businesspeople? In this passionate talk from the Workplace Track at the Fourth Lausanne Congress, Steinar Opheim introduces the vision of tentmaking—a ministry that combines everyday work with cross-cultural mission, especially among the unreached.

Steinar shares how Christian professionals are uniquely positioned to bring the gospel to places where traditional missionaries cannot go. Through jobs and businesses, believers can model the life of Christ, build trust in communities, and open doors that no one else can. This is the ministry of the whole Church, living and working for the whole gospel, in the whole world.

Part of the Lausanne Workplace Track Series, this presentation is a compelling call to action to mobilize the 99% of the Church for mission.
