Commissioning the Whole Church into the Whole World with João Mordomo

What if every believer saw their daily work as a vital part of fulfilling the Great Commission? In this inspiring talk from the Workplace Track at the Fourth Lausanne Congress, João Mordomo challenges the Church to embrace a bold, biblical vision: every follower of Jesus is commissioned—wherever they are, whatever their vocation.

João unpacks the biblical foundation for Business as Mission (BAM) and shows how work and witness go hand-in-hand. From entrepreneurs and engineers to artists and administrators, he calls the whole Church to engage the whole world with the whole gospel—through the power of work that reflects God’s mission and values.

Part of the Lausanne Workplace Track Series, this talk is a call to action for churches, leaders, and marketplace believers to reimagine vocation as kingdom calling.
