Christian Mission and the Theology of the Body with Timothy Tennent

What does the human body have to do with the mission of the Church?

In this short presentation, Timothy Tennent explores the biblical foundation for a theology of the body and its implications for Christian mission today. From creation to the Incarnation, marriage, celibacy, and sacramental living, he unpacks seven key building blocks that shape a holistic vision for discipleship and evangelism in an age of cultural confusion about identity, gender, and embodiment.

As part of the Theological Foundation Papers series, this talk bridges the insights of the State of the Great Commission Report with a biblical understanding of how the gospel is lived and proclaimed through embodied communities.

Watch now to discover why recovering a theology of the body is essential for the Church’s witness today.
