The Lausanne War and Peace Cohort and Network of Evangelicals for the Middle East (NEME) invites you to join our prayer series, ‘The Lausanne War and Peace Cohort: A Learning Community in Prayer’. This series examines regions currently experiencing war and conflict and aims to foster meaningful dialogue about advocacy and prayer for peace.
Our second session, ‘Overcoming Violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)’, is facilitated by Rev Dr Mae Elise Cannon, chair of the War and Peace Cohort. The session focuses on the realities of the conflict in the DRC from the perspectives of panelists Pastor Alexis Ruhumuriza and Pastor Georges Budagu Makoko, with dedicated prayer for those experiencing and affected by violence in the DRC.
