The Hope and Love Measure

Theology, Child Development, and Spiritual Well-Being

13 Jan 2025 Online

The Lausanne Children-at-Risk Network, together with World Vision International, invites you to a four-part webinar series introducing Hope Rooted in God’s Love Measure, a ground-breaking tool developed with leading scholars to better understand how children perceive and experience God’s love. This scientifically validated and cross-cultural measure offers fresh insights into the role of faith and spirituality in child flourishing.

Each session brings together global experts, faith leaders, and practitioners who will discuss the development of the measure, its methodology, and its implications for research, policy, and practice.

The third webinar in the series, ‘Theology, Child Development, and Spiritual Well-Being’, will take place on 13 January 2026. This session will:

  • Introduce Hope Rooted in God’s Love and explore the theological foundations of how children experience divine love.
  • Consider insights from developmental psychology, highlighting the role of spirituality in fostering resilience.
  • Reflect on practices that contribute to the spiritual nurture of children across diverse contexts.

Don’t miss the last webinar in the series: ‘Toward a Global Study of Faith and Child Flourishing’ on 17 February 2026.
