You are invited to participate in the three-day forum from 30 September to 02 October 2024, 09:00-18:00 daily, at the Hansarang Church, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, South Korea.
Join us at the Lausanne Media Engagement Forum with Landmarker Ministry and the Hansarang Church, where we will address the three facets of media engagement: media awareness, media presence and media ministries. You will gain insight into the worldviews expressed in media and those held by society at large. Learn to craft innovative messages tailored to specific contexts and communicate them compellingly through storytelling. Discover strategies for navigating media influence as both a consumer and a creator, and for developing influential voices within the media landscape. This forum will also equip you with the skills to forge meaningful relationships with others and jointly explore effective methods of becoming a significant gospel presence in the media, tuned to the unique challenges of people in our society.
This forum will enable you as participant to:
- Become aware of—and understand—the influence the media has on you.
- Establish an authentic presence within mainstream media spaces.
- Realise your significance as a Christian in influencing others through media channels.
- Learn to relate carefully through the media to other people, and to relate meaningfully to the media itself.
Forum Programme:
- Plenary presentations by international speakers from the Lausanne Media Engagement Network, by Landmarker Ministry on Korean media engagement, and by media practitioners about media initiatives.
- Group conversations to deepen understanding, interactions, and feedback,
- Practical interactive sessions for developing media stories and strategies for engaging with media in the local context.
- Networking time to find ways for collaborations around media engagement.
