Lausanne Children and Family Network Listening Call

English, Portuguese and Spanish-speaking Africa

6 May 2026

The Lausanne Children and Family Network (CnF) and Lausanne EPSA region invite leaders, practitioners, families, and organisations across the EPSA (English, Portuguese and Spanish-speaking Africa) region to a listening webinar. This gathering is part of a wider Lausanne movement-wide discernment process, seeking to prayerfully listen to what God is doing across the global church, while also focusing specifically on children and families within our region.

Together, we will reflect on key questions emerging from the global Lausanne discernment process; exploring where we see God at work, the gaps and challenges facing children and families, and the opportunities before us for mission. This is not a presentation-driven webinar, but a participatory space for listening, sharing, and learning from one another across nations, cultures, and ministries.

The EPSA region carries unique realities—vibrant faith, growing young populations, strong community life, and also challenges such as poverty, conflict, migration, and family instability. In this context, children and families are not only recipients of ministry but vital participants in God’s mission today.

This webinar aims to:

  • Create space for regional voices to be heard
  • Identify key themes, challenges, and opportunities
  • Strengthen connections across leaders and organisations
  • Discern how the CnF network can serve the region more effectively

Participants are encouraged to complete the short pre-webinar reflection form, which will guide our discussion and help shape future collaboration, including cohorts, regional initiatives, and potential contributions to the wider Lausanne Movement.

As we gather, we come with humility, openness, and expectancy, trusting that God is already at work among children and families across EPSA, and inviting us to join him.
