Countering the Prosperity Gospel with the True Gospel of Grace – J. Kwabena Asamoah

Many churches have adopted consumerism and made prosperity the evidence of God’s blessing. J. Kwabena Asamoah (Ghana) first explains the prosperity gospel before showing how the church must return to a biblical understanding of poverty and prosperity, reflecting the true gospel of grace.

J. Kwabena Asamoah-Gyadu is the Baëta-Grau Professor of African Christianity and Pentecostal/Charismatic Theology at Trinity Theological Seminary in Legon, Ghana. He is also the president of the seminary. He is a member of the LGA Editorial Advisory Board.
