At the Fourth Lausanne Congress, something powerful happened. Leaders from all over the world gathered—not just to talk, but to take real, tangible action. We leaned into identifying the biggest gaps in the Great Commission, built a toolkit to make ongoing collaboration possible, and made a heartfelt commitment to working together to move the mission of Jesus forward.
Everywhere you turned—in hallways, over meals, even outdoors in the sunshine—people were meeting, dreaming, and laying the groundwork for collaboration. The air inside the Convensia buzzed with energy. And on the final day, we sealed that commitment by signing the Collaborative Action Commitment—not just as a ‘nice ending’ to the Congress, but as a serious pledge to keep working together long after Seoul 2024.

This was more than putting pen to paper. Together, we made a promise to:
- Respond intentionally to Jesus’ call by closing gaps and embracing new opportunities.
- Build and nurture relationships with leaders who share a heart for seeing the gospel flourish.

New Global Connections
A catalyst from Denver joined a South Asia chat group and soon built partnerships with 20 leaders to support persecuted Christians. It all started with a few messages —and grew into real collaboration.
Mental Health in Missions
After attending a Mental Health and Counseling Evangelism (MHCE) workshop at the Congress, 50 global leaders from five continents formed a team that’s still active today. They meet virtually in the MHCE Collaborative Global Network through the Action Hub, sharing resources and encouraging one another as they equip churches worldwide with basic mental health skills.
Deepening Theological Foundations
The Theology Working Group released the Seoul Statement, identifying emerging theological gaps with the goal of enhancing current mission work. On the Action Hub, a special space invites leaders to reflect, discuss, and respond—ensuring sound doctrine undergirds everything we do.
Raising the Next Generation
The Intergenerational Collaboration space equips younger leaders and promotes the generational intentionality in missions. It’s where the 2027 Younger Leaders Gathering is taking shape, built on wisdom passed from one generation to the next.
