Redemption and Purposeful Work with Steve Osei-Mensah

What does it mean to do redemptive work? In this thoughtful and practical talk from the Workplace Track at the Fourth Lausanne Congress, Steve Osei-Mensah reflects on how Christian workers can root their purpose in Christ and allow their work to bear fruit for God’s kingdom. Drawing from John 15, Colossians 3, and the Book of Ruth, Steve calls believers to remain in the vine, remember who they truly work for, and reflect God’s love and character in every task.

He reminds us that fruitful, redemptive work is not about personal success but about staying rooted in Christ and allowing Him to shape us through pruning, deepen us through prayer, and empower us with purpose. Whether you’re leading a company or working behind the scenes, your daily labor matters to God.

Part of the Lausanne Workplace Track Series, this presentation is both encouraging and convicting—a guide for integrating faith and work with humility, grace, and power.
