The world is facing so many untold and unnecessary issues and with Christ as our hope, the Lausanne Movement’s Freedom and Justice Issue Network believes that the larger church has the responsibility to get involved with the community to provide them hope in word and deed. The Lausanne Movement’s Freedom and Justice Issue Network invites you to discuss the Integral Mission with special focus on issues facing the community today by attending its first global gathering from 28-31 January 2025.
The Lausanne Movement’s Freedom and Justice Issue Network is calling mission leaders, theologians, practitioners, men and women, young and old, laity and clergy, leaders and school students to come around the table and discuss the Integral Mission, with special focus on issues facing the community today.
How much has the church taken the mission of Jesus mentioned in Luke 4:18, 19 (aka the Nazarene Manifesto) forward, and where and why have we missed it?
What needs to be done to advance it? We need voices who can pray over the mission, ponder it passionately and participate in action.
If you are not part of the network already, please write to justice@lausanne.org with two references who are already involved in the Lausanne Movement. We are looking forward to welcoming both people who have been involved with issues of Justice for years and those who are much newer.
Please note that you will be responsible for raising the costs of registration, visas and any other necessary expenditure.
