Global Voices

A research initiative of the Lausanne Movement

Listening to the Church. Learning Together.

Since 1974, the Lausanne Movement has brought together evangelical leaders from around the world to advance the Great Commission. We believe this work begins with listening—carefully and collaboratively—to discern where the Church is making progress and where gaps remain

The Global Voices Panel is part of this ongoing commitment: learning from the global Body of Christ to better understand the unique challenges and opportunities facing the Church today.

Purpose of the Panel

The Global Voices Panel gathers insights from trusted leaders across diverse regions and ministries. Through a few short surveys each year, panel members contribute to a global process of collaborative discernment—helping Lausanne and others understand how the Church is engaging with God’s mission worldwide.

This approach reflects Lausanne’s conviction: listening to the global Church is essential to moving forward in unity and faithfulness.

A Shared Commitment

The Global Voices Panel is rooted in the belief that discernment happens best in community. It reflects Lausanne’s posture of service, not directing the global Church, but learning from it.

The wisdom shared through the panel informs meaningful reflection on how we might continue faithfully in the work of the Great Commission.

The Global Voices survey was born from a desire to listen. In an era marked by rapid change, cultural complexity, and growing global interconnectedness, mission leaders around the world face new challenges and new opportunities.
