A home to well over one-fifth of the world’s population, South Asia is one of the most incredible regions in a myriad of ways. With its centuries old civilizations, varied cultures, diverse traditions, ethnicities, music, cuisines, languages, art and festivals, it truly is a mesmerising place.
Despite three of the top ten countries facing Christian persecution being located in this region, the South Asian church is vibrant and growing. A multi-faceted church of over several millions, representing almost all ethnic and language groups, is both traditional and modern in its expressions. Equipped with prayer, the Church stands courageous against persecution, and is empowered by the Spirit. The Lausanne Movement continues to act as a valuable catalyst to enable the South Asian church – as it joins with ‘the Whole Church to take the Whole Gospel to the Whole World.’

- Mobilisation of the church – Pray for the continued mobilisation of the South Asian church for mission in the world, particularly through many who work abroad.
- Strengthened by God’s provision – Pray that the church would be strengthened knowing God will supply every need we have according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.(Philippians 4:19).
