From Reflection to Action

Lausanne’s impact continues to shape mission across Europe, as highlighted in a recent academic evaluation of the Fourth Lausanne Congress by Jim Memory and Usha Reifsnider (Norwegian Journal of Missiology, 79.2, 2025).

The Congress served as a moment of global listening, theological reflection, and renewed vision. The study shows how Lausanne Europe is carrying this momentum forward—applying insights locally, strengthening networks, and fostering collaboration in mission. By intentionally listening to diverse voices, including those from the margins, a renewed vision for mission is emerging across the continent.

As national movements put these outcomes into practice, Lausanne is helping the church in Europe rediscover confidence in the gospel and re-engage in God’s mission with unity and purpose.
