Reflecting Christ in the Workplace and the Church
The fifth day of the Fourth Lausanne Congress in Incheon, South Korea, focused on the workplace and ‘remembering the Korean Church’s journey of faith’ and its impact in the world. Participants spent time collaborating and strategically discussing how to intentionally reflect Christ at work and in the church.
The last Plenary session included a special time of reflection led by the Korean Church. The 140-year history of the Korean Church and its ‘12 Stones’ was passionately displayed and explained through prayer, music and the performing arts. Prayers of thanksgiving, repentance, renewal, and a blessing over the Korean Church, were led by different people during the service with the goal of inspiring the local and global church. The session concluded with everyone singing ‘Amazing Grace.’
