This International LCJE Conference was the second in a series of international LCJE gatherings. The first gathering was the Mini-Consultation on Reaching Jewish People, one of seventeen mini-consultations at the Consultation on World Evangelization (COWE) in Pattaya, Thailand, in June 1980.
The 52 delegates who attended came from ten countries in five continents and represented 17 mission agencies and seven theological institutes and study centres.
The delegates produced a Consultation Statement from this gathering.
