‘When Cities Pray’ is the first gathering in our series on the TRUST Pathway. This session is for city leaders and urban practitioners to explore how prayer moves leaders from isolated activity to shared mission.
Our speaker, Tom White, is founder and president of City Advance and a veteran catalyst of the global city-gospel movement. Since 1991, Tom has led more than 900 Leaders Prayer Summits in cities worldwide—part of a Prayer Summit movement that began in 1989 and has since expanded to more than 2,000 summits in over 20 nations, including gatherings across North America, Asia, Australia, the Middle East, and beyond.
With more than 35 years of experience in city-focused ministry and a network reaching thousands of gatherings internationally, Tom brings extensive experience in launching prayer-driven movements for gospel impact in cities.
This gathering is hosted by the Lausanne Cities Network, an issue network of the Lausanne Movement committed to mobilizing the global church for holistic mission in, through, and with the world’s cities.
