Missional Community through Intentional Collaboration
The third day of the Fourth Lausanne Congress held in Incheon, South Korea, was centered around the theme of Missional Community. Participants and leaders from different parts of the world engaged in smaller group discussions focused on intentionally listening to each other, including Gaps and Optional Interest Groups. Major themes like the necessity for authenticity, transparency and intentional collaboration within the church and broader communities were highlighted throughout the day.
The day ended on a high note with a celebration of the Lausanne Movement’s 50th Anniversary that included balloons and fun props. A group of five panelists from diverse cultural backgrounds shared testimonies about how their past experiences at Lausanne congresses changed the trajectory of their mission in the world.
