Translation on the Lausanne Website

Videos on Lausanne's YouTube channel and some areas of the Lausanne website make use of the Google Translate service in order to quickly and efficiently make content available across language barriers. Google Translate is a third party, machine translation service that LCWE has no control over.

The Google Translate service provides machine translation without the intervention of human translators. This automated/computerized process cannot match the fluency of a native speaker and is not a substitute for the skills of a professional translator. The meaning of words depends upon the context in which they are used. Consequently, the translations provided are only an approximation of the original content and should not be considered exact.

If any questions arise concerning the accuracy of the information presented by the translated content, please refer to the original English content, which is the official version.

Please note that all translations of the Lausanne Covenant, Manila Manifesto and content within the Cape Town 2010 section have been professionally translated by human translators.
