Reviving Faith in Rome: Danny’s Global Inspiration
How can seeing the global church at work renew hope for mission in a challenging local context?
The evangelical community in Italy, particularly in Rome, is small and faces challenges in growth. Yet Daniele (Danny) Pasquale, Principal of the Evangelical Bible Institute (IBEI), finds renewed hope after attending the Fourth Lausanne Congress.
Inspired by the global forum and the Seoul Statement, Danny is now working through the Statement with his staff and students, seeing it as a valuable resource to encourage Italian evangelicals. It reinforces that God is active worldwide, the church is growing, and there is much to learn from the global church. The Lausanne Movement has motivated Danny to persevere in his mission.
