Stories from the Movement

From Isolation to Global Mission Community

After returning from the mission field, CJ Davison entered seminary with a heart for mission but felt isolated. ‘Where are my peers running with the gospel?’ he prayed. Through YLG2016 and YLGen, Caleb found his answer and global brothers and sisters with whom he could learn, labour, and pray. Their friendship challenged his character, strengthened him to steward greater responsibility, and refined his vision for ministry.

Today, CJ serves on Lausanne’s YLGen executive team and Bridge Leaders Initiative, while working with Union to equip leaders and grow churches through training, resources, and church planting. The fellowship he sought now shapes the fellowship and formation he offers others across generations.
