The Lausanne South East Asia region held a virtual gathering on 27 November 2021 from 10.30-12.30 SGT (see your time zone) on ‘The Role of Mental Health Care in the Church and Missions’.
Mental health care has become one the critical needs of people everywhere, especially during the post-COVID era. In many countries within our region of South East Asia, there has been a significant rise in mental health issues such as depression and even suicide cases.
How is the church responding to this challenging situation? What should the church and Christians be doing to serve communities during such a time as this? These were the questions that were addressed.
