Join us for an upcoming Zoom gathering of the Academic Ministry & Educators Network (AMEN), part of the Lausanne Movement.
We’re pleased to welcome Dr Peter Schurman, executive director of Global Scholars Canada, who will share about the ministry’s work equipping and sending Christian professors into universities around the world—both in person and virtually. Global Scholars Canada supports scholars in their teaching, research, and relationships, helping them bring a Christ-centred perspective into classrooms, mentor students, and engage colleagues thoughtfully. Through this work, educators are empowered to integrate faith with academic excellence, shaping future leaders and fostering lasting transformation across universities and societies.
After Dr Schurman speaks, the gathering will conclude with a 45-minute question-and-answer conversation.
AMEN exists to equip and connect Christian scholars for lasting impact in higher education—one of the world’s most influential arenas. By fostering global collaboration among educators and ministry leaders, the network helps overcome isolation, share resources, and strengthen faith-informed scholarship. Together, we are cultivating a vibrant community committed to engaging the academic world with clarity, purpose, and hope.
