Following is the recording for the Public Reading of Scripture (PRS) call on 11 February, where we reflected on the workplace within the context of Scripture and how integral it is to fulfilling the Great Commission. We will listen to Psalm 138; 1 Thessalonians 4; Colossians 4; 2 Thessalonians 3, and Jerry White shared a reflection on the topic ‘Called to Work’.
Despite the discouragement we often feel, the ultimate result of our work is in God’s hands. We can trust God not only to use what we have done, but in his time to also bring it to fulfillment. Our host—the Lausanne Workplace Ministry Network—will help show us how to be a faithful servant at work.
