The leadership of the Lausanne Movement will hold its Biennial Meeting in June at The Presbyterian College and Theological Seminary in Seoul, Korea. Lausanne is sincerely appreciative of the work of Dr. Jong-Yun Lee, the Lausanne Chair for Korea and country host for the meeting, for his wonderful hospitality and leadership in helping arrange this gathering.
Lausanne looks forward to being on the campus of The Presbyterian College and Theological Seminary (PCTS) and is thankful for the assistance of its leaders in making arrangements and providing space for this important meeting.
PCTS has a deep commitment to quality theological and missiological training. PCTS has a rich history of nurturing leaders and ministers to serve the church, society and their country (learn more about the history and mission of this important college and seminary). Students at PCTS choose from a variety of academic pursuits, all of which include training in the study and praxis of the Gospel (learn more).
The Lausanne Movement Biennial Meeting (attendance by invitation only) comes at an important time for Lausanne in the planning for The Third Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization: Cape Town 2010. Cape Town 2010 will be held 16-25 October 2010.
With approximately 16 months before the beginning of CT2010, the leadership team will be making important decisions regarding engaging the 4000 onsite participants and developing meaningful involvement by potentially tens of thousands of leaders virtually through Cape Town GlobaLink and the Lausanne Global Conversation.
Please be praying for the leaders involved in this meeting as together they seek the wisdom of the Lord for Cape Town 2010 and beyond.
