The past, present and future connected with the gospel, mission and friendship. This is the core of the program for the Lausanne Brazil Meeting, which will be held on December 2, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Vértice Baptist Church in Brasília (DF). (See all Timezones). Please note: this gathering will be in person and in Portuguese. The event will bring together the current national leadership of the Lausanne Movement in Brazil, alongside with experienced and new leaders.
The aim of the meeting is to strengthen bonds shaped by the mission of Jesus and by the experience with the Lausanne Movement. The organizers also want to introduce the participants to the networking opportunities that Lausanne offers.

Collaborative

The Lausanne Brazil Meeting will be very collaborative: the participants will be at tables and will be able to reflect on what will be said in the plenary sessions assisted by moderators. Almost thirty people from various organizations are directly involved in organizing or holding the event. Among the names confirmed are: Valdir and Silêda Steuernagel, Ricardo Barbosa, Leandro Silva, Carlinhos Veiga, Fernando Costa, Paulo Borges Júnior, Paulo Humaitá and Douglas Gonçalves.
The programme is organized into three distinct moments, which complement each other: past, present and future. In each of them, there will be a time for sharing and a round table discussion. The meeting will also feature the musical performance of Carlinhos Veiga and other musicians.
“We want to connect people and enhance the contribution of each one of them, in the spirit of Lausanne, with the gospel and the mission of Christ,” says the Movement’s executive leadership in Brazil.
