Spring was born and raised in East Asia as part of a sixth-generation Christian ministerial heritage dating back to the 1870s. Since 2008, he has served in cross-cultural missions, including as a missionary in Central Asia and in national leadership roles for mission mobilization and UUPG engagement across East Asia.
He holds an MA in Missiology and currently serves in mission leadership roles in East Asia and beyond.
