Rachel Davis grew up in a Messianic home and watched her parents faithfully serve the Lord among the Jewish community. This instilled a passion to pray for and reach out to her Jewish people with the gospel. Her enthusiasm sparks others to do the same!
Rachel received her undergraduate degree in Jewish Studies and Bible in 2002 and her Masters of Arts in Old Testament Studies in 2006, both from Moody Bible Institute. She joined the staff of Chosen People Ministries in 2002 and served for five years in the Chosen People Ministries’ New York City headquarters, among its vast population of Jewish people.
She delights in discipling children and youth, teaches young people to confidently share their faith with their Jewish friends and is a mentor and encourager to many. She also coordinates conferences for global young messianic believers, as well as organizing short term mission trips to Israel. She loves to grab daily opportunities to share her faith with those around her.
In 2007, Rachel moved to Israel, serving at the Jerusalem and Tel Aviv Messianic Centers. Once in Israel, she met Steve Davis, a British Jewish believer. They have been married since June 2010 and have two boys and a little girl. Rachel loves swimming, a good laugh and a cup of tea with milk and sugar, please.
