Janet is passionate about Christian ministry transformation and has served in different capacities in student ministry in Kenya through the Fellowship of Christian Unions (13 years) and in Norway (one year). She enjoys coordinating processes that facilitate transformation in society.
She has a BS from the University of Nairobi and a vocational diploma in intercultural communication from the Hald International Centre in Norway. She is currently an MBA student at Suffolk University in the UK.
Janet was a participant in the 2010 Third Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization. She is married to Isaya Opondo and is blessed with four children. She lives with her family in Kisumu, Kenya, where they attend CITAM Kisumu Church.
