New Life and New Leaders for the Least Reached

What changes when least-reached communities are invited not merely to receive, but to lead and shape mission?

In Senegal, Lausanne Catalyst for Least Reached Peoples, Z.L., helped convene 20 men and women from a persecuted, unreached context for deep discipleship – shaped with them, not merely for them. Participants helped prepare the gathering, shape the programme, and lead content, while outside facilitators prioritised listening and learning. Together they explored Jesus’ way of leading through vulnerability, compassion, solidarity, suffering, prophetic imagination, and joy, with space for prayer, lament, and artistic expression.

The impact was deeply personal and generational: one young man visiting his mother gave his life to Jesus, and three young leaders from the gathering will attend YLG4 in Brazil. Lausanne is helping create spaces where least-reached leaders are not only equipped, but recognised as equal contributors to global mission.
