From a side conversation at the Nairobi Café during the Fourth Lausanne Congress in Seoul, Co-Regional Director Esther Chengo helped spark a vision that, one year later, brought together 450 leaders from over 30 nations at the Africa Missions Conference in Nairobi. Esther describes its impetus: ‘It’s all about harnessing Africa’s mission movement, not just for Africa, but for the globe.’

As Lausanne EPSA Regional Director Stephen Mbogo shared, ‘What a joy as we look at the state of evangelism and missions in Africa and as we seek to see Africa mobilised to be a missionary force.’ Joshua Bogunjoko affirmed, ‘This is a great start to a great thing.’
