Stephen Garner is academic dean and senior lecturer in theology at Laidlaw College in Auckland, Aotearoa (New Zealand) and a senior research fellow at the Australian College of Theology in Sydney. He has backgrounds in computer science, theology, and academic management, and his research focuses on theology, technology, and ethics; religion, media, and popular culture; and public and contextual theology. He is a lay member of the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand.
