Ron Scates earned his doctorate from Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, Virginia (US). The principal focus of Ron’s ministry is preaching. He devotes daily time to sermon preparation, translating Scriptural text from the original language. Ron has been senior pastor of First Presbyterian Church in San Antonio, Central Presbyterian Church in Baltimore, and Highland Park Presbyterian Church in Dallas.
