John is the founder/president of Multiplication Network Ministries (MNM), an organization that equips leaders with the tools and resources to strengthen and multiply healthy churches.
John is bilingual and also bicultural. He has lived one-half of his life in Latin America and the other half in the United States. He and his wife were missionaries in Puerto Rico from 1994 to 2001. John served on the board of directors for Miami-based FLET University, which provides theological and biblical training throughout the Spanish-speaking world. Joining Bible League International as the associate director of Latin American ministry, John’s passion for ministry and his leadership strengths led him into the roles of vice president for Asia and later executive director of global ministry.
John received a BA in theology from Dordt College, an MA in missions and church growth from Calvin Theological Seminary, and a DMin from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He has authored, coauthored, or edited several books: Iglecrecimiento Integral (Wholistic Church Growth), Sembremos Iglesias Saludables (Let’s Plant Healthy Churches), Take Your Church’s Pulse: Ten Vital Signs of a Healthy Church, and Planting Healthy Churches.
He currently lives in Zeeland, Michigan (US), with his wife and children.
