Young Hearts, New Hope: Discipleship and Spiritual Reproduction in Angola

What if the future of the church depends on ordinary young believers choosing to become spiritual fathers and mothers?

In this episode of God on the Move, Ludmila Manico shares how she came to personal faith in Jesus amid family hardship, was discipled through one-on-one training, and now leads Bible study “cells,” disciples six young girls, and supervises seven young leaders through Oaks of Righteousness in Lubango, Angola. She describes Angola’s youthful context, the ministry’s focus on community-based discipleship and leadership development, and key challenges such as busyness and lack of commitment driven by pressures for success, friends, and family dynamics. Ludmila explains how Scripture shapes identity and perseverance, discusses her hopes for the Lausanne Younger Leaders Gathering (YLG 4) in Brazil, and calls the church to “spiritual reproduction” so disciples make disciples.
