Cities as Gospel Frontiers

How can churches learn to see their cities not simply as locations, but as vital frontiers for mission?

Lausanne’s Cities Issue Network is turning thoughtful mission reflection into accessible resources for churches around the world. Its Global Classroom on Cities – recently highlighted by Christian Today and Taiwan’s Christian Tribune – is helping believers rethink urban mission in a rapidly urbanising world.

The content equips churches to understand their cities deeply, collaborate across congregations, and pursue gospel transformation with humility and love. As the Christian Tribune states, ‘Lausanne is calling the global Church to readjust its mission perspective, viewing cities as key nodes for gospel expansion rather than just one mission field among many.’ Through this work, Lausanne is helping local churches plant, serve, listen, and engage with renewed clarity.
