The future of “doing good” is being contested. As aid recedes and investment-driven models rise, World Vision warns that Christian networks must help recover a deeper vision of human dignity, justice, and shared flourishing.

The Lausanne Movement is named among those networks carrying this responsibility. In a world tempted to measure people by productivity or return, Lausanne’s global convening power matters: it helps the church ask not only who will do good, but how we imagine the good itself. This is thought leadership with missional weight – calling Christians to collaborate, resist dehumanising systems, and bear witness to God’s justice in a changing world.
