Sean Long is a house church pastor from mainland China. Born into a communist family in 1985, he converted from a communist to a Christian in 2006 while in college. Sean has served as a pastor at one of the largest emerging urban Chinese house churches since 2010 and was ordained in 2017. He is involved in Bible teaching, church planting, leading worship, campus ministry, theological education, and mission mobilisation. He received his master of divinity from an underground seminary in Beijing and his master of theology at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in the US. He is now doing his doctoral work in systematic theology at Wheaton College. He has been married to his wife Melody for over a decade and together they have three children.
