Georges Pirwoth Atido is president of the Réseau Évangélique de Missiologues pour la Francophonie (REMIF), facilitator at Development Associate International (DAI) in Francophone Africa, and a member of the Strategic Plan Monitoring and Evaluation Committee of the Association for Christian Theological Education in Africa (ACTEA). Georges is also the president of Université Shalom de Bunia in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Georges has a PhD and is professor of missiology and world Christianity. A Langham scholar, his broad research interests include exploring African indigenous expression of Christianity and their connectedness with African economic, social, and political contexts. Atido is married to Jacqueline, with whom they have five children.
