Daewon Moon is the senior pastor of Daegu Dongshin Church, a Presbyterian congregation in South Korea that has been devoted to world missions since 1973. Previously, he served as academic dean at International Leadership University in Burundi for six years. Daewon received his MDiv from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and his PhD in World Christianity from Boston University. He is the author of African Initiative and Inspiration in the East African Revival (Brill 2022), a scholarly monograph in the series Theology and Mission in World Christianity by the International Association for Mission Studies. Daewon is married to Jeonghwa. Their lovely daughter, Jimin, has lived on four different continents with her missionary parents.
