From Displacement to Multiplication
What happens when a displaced leader finds community, mentoring, and a renewed sense of calling?
When Alexey, a young ministry leader in Eurasia, courageously spoke against the invasion of Ukraine, he was forced to flee his homeland with his wife and children. Uprooted and heartbroken, he found refuge in Mexico — but faced deep questions about his calling and future.
Lausanne came alongside Alexey through the Lausanne Leadership Journey, connecting him with a global community of younger leaders and a mentor, Ole-Magnus Olafsrud. Strengthened and encouraged, Alexey is now not only rebuilding but multiplying — preparing for a mission trip to Africa later this year, accompanied by a Mayan missionary, possibly the first ever. Through crisis, Lausanne’s investment is shaping leaders like Alexey to impact nations.
