Take a look at some of the key concern areas that we seek to address.
We are living in a media-driven world.
More than two-thirds of the over8 billion people in the world use a mobile phone.
This means access to digital communication is at every level of society and in every corner of the earth.
Over 60% of the global population uses social media (with this number growing by 10% each year).
Among audiences aged 18+ it’s as high as 81%.
The average daily time a person spends on social media is 2.5 hours.
The media in general has become the central shaping force of our cultures and values—setting the agenda in society.
In contrast, many see the church as lacking influence on global culture.
How can we maximise the use of digital media and technology to help accelerate the spread of the gospel?
Core Ambition
We want to see the church influencing the greatest influence in the world—media culture.
‘I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.’
1 Corinthians 9:22
Take a moment to pray for God to reveal to you how you can use your on-line presence to spread his love and truth.
So what can we do?
Think critically and pray about the church’s potential influential media presence to make a case for the truth, love and reconciliation of Christ.
