Video Editing Lead

The Video Editing Lead is a pivotal figure within the Fourth Lausanne Congress’s creative team, driving the post-production process to craft compelling video narratives that captivate a global audience. This role involves overseeing the editing of footage from the congress, including keynotes, panels, interviews, and behind-the-scenes content, to produce high-quality video materials. The Video Editing Lead ensures that all video content is consistent with the congress’s brand, visual identity, and messaging, enhancing the congress’s reach and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Direction: Provide leadership and direction to the video editing team, establishing workflows and standards for video post-production.
  • Creative Oversight: Oversee the creative aspects of video editing, ensuring that the final products are engaging, informative, and aligned with the congress’s objectives.
  • Technical Quality Control: Ensure that all video content meets technical quality standards, including clarity, sound quality, and visual effects.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with videographers, producers, and other creative team members to align video content with overall communication strategies.
  • Brand and Messaging Alignment: Monitor and enforce consistency with the congress’s brand guidelines and messaging across all video materials.

Ideal Candidate Qualities:

  • Expertise in Video Editing: Demonstrated expertise in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), with a strong portfolio of previous work.
  • Creative Vision: Ability to translate raw footage into compelling narratives, with a keen eye for storytelling and visual composition.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team of video editors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of post-production techniques, color grading, sound editing, and other aspects of video production.
